The Campeonato Argentino Abierto De Palermo is the most important international polo championship at club level in the world. It’s organised every year to be held in Palermo, Buenos Aires, and it draws in supporters from all over the world to watch the action. The championship started in 1893, so it is 129 years old to date, and the most recent champions of 2021 were La Navitad, who jaw droppingly beat the record breaking team of La Dolfina’s seamless stream of wins, as well as another favourite La Ellerstina. 2022 is the year of change, with a huge entry of new teams, new combinations, so it’s going to be one of the most exciting tournaments in many years!
