Our Irenita Total Air Sport Boot is made with HUSK’s 6 dimensional air flow technology which allows air to flow between the layers as well as enabling heat and water to escape. This boot has 360 degree protection and is by far the best all round protection for your horse. HUSK’s incredible technology ensures that the boots are super light, breathable, protective, and clean all at once! HUSK's Irenita Boots are also 100% waterproof, so no matter the weather, your horses legs will always be protected from the elements.
The extra exciting part is that the Irenita Total Air Sport Boots are able to help regulate your horse’s skin temperature underneath so that they remain as natural as possible whilst protecting from impact. Our elastics are cleverly designed by HUSK to ensure durability, structure and the inability to over tighten, yet to hold the boot firmly in place. Wide straps also used to create a larger surface area and weaken pressure points. A healthier choice of leg protection for your horse.

HUSK uses the power of air stored in the pockets of its 6 dimensional technology in a performance enhancing design that offers 360 degree protection. There is no need for heavy weight materials to protect your horse’s legs anymore! These boots are unbelievably light!
HUSK’s air technology not only weakens the force of impact to your horse’s leg, it also regulates temperatures under the boot, and helps to sustain a healthy environment against the horse’s skin to minimise bacterial and fungal build up. These particular boots are ergonomically designed in the UK, assisted by vets and professional riders to ensure a fit that protects as much of the lower leg as possible whilst minimising restriction to your horse’s movement through shape and feather light fabrics which in turn can cause strain and injury. Our boots are designed to liberate your horse’s performance not limit it.
Washing and care instructions
All products are machine washable, and also scrub up pretty well with a pressure hose! They dry in up to 30 minutes. No more hanging sweaty gear up for days on end to dry!
• Machine washable on normal 30 degree cycle.
• Hose wash regularly over machine wash
• Shake out & brush away hair prior to wash for best results
• We advise washing in a wash bag
• Pull into correct shape whilst damp to maintain shape during drying.
• Please ensure the washing machine drum is large enough to safely accommodate the size.
• Please ensure all velcro is closed firmly prior to washing.
• Air dry away from heat source (do not tumble)

Protection
HUSK Air Boots protection has been tested using a 5kg axe with soft wood
underneath to assess the depth and breadth of the dent vs dropping an axe with no boot in between, and also vs competitor soft and hard shell boots.

There was an extremely shallow and wide dent demonstrating the dissipation and weakening of impact to the wood underneath by the HUSK Air Boots. Please see our Blog Stories or YouTube to view the results. A lab experiment has also been carried out using a powder inside the fabric vs a neoprene/foam. The powder dissipated throughout the boots to show how the force of impact dissipates, and the fabric stayed intact. The neoprene/foam split.
Thermoregulation

HUSK Air Boots consistently demonstrate that they do not heat the leg temperatures above the horses’ natural temperatures without leg protection on. The boots have also been tested against other breathable boots, on our blogs also, to demonstrate their superiority of effect.
Breathability/Porosity
HUSK Air Boots have demonstrated both elements in tests where we have put feathers on the boots and a hair dryer underneath to evenly disperse the feathers.
